4 Step Problem Solving

4 Step Problem Solving-2
These steps are the same no matter if you are on the hunt for a minor issue to some intermittent, pain in the backside, wonky problem.These same four steps are how you build a machine learning system which does predictive modeling. Problem solving should be the first line in any job description, as it is the heart and soul of what we do as software professionals. While it may seem like a daunting process, one that maybe makes you feel overwhelmed or flustered at where to start, believe me, it’s not as hard as you might think.The final step in the process is very important, but many students skip it, feeling like they have an answer so they can move on now.

We could: In our example, we need a sub-goal of figuring out the actual total number of cupcakes made before we can determine how many were left over.

We could write an equation to show what is unknown and how to find the solution: (1 dozen 3 dozen) - 5 = number eaten The third step in the process is the next logical step: Carry Out the Plan.

All six steps are followed in order – as a cycle, beginning with “1.

Identify the Problem.” Each step must be completed before moving on to the next step. At any point the group can return to an earlier step, and proceed from there.

When you carry out the plan, you should keep a record of your steps as you implement your strategy from step 2.

Our plan involved the sub-goal of finding out how many cupcakes were made total.

var $R = j Conflict(); var is Acc = false; //sorting tables function table Sort(order By) $R(document).on("after-height-change", ".maincontent div[data-equalizer]", Fix HPModule Heights); function Fix HPModule Heights(args) function Search() function Set Tab Indexes() $R(window).load(function() ); $R(document).ready(function () { //table sorting $R(".sortable .arrow-down").show(); $R(".sortable .arrow-up").show(); $R("." $R("Order By").val() " .arrow-" $R("Direction").val()).hide(); $R("Search").keyup(function(e) ); //hide link-out anchors with no url $R(".module .link-out a[href='']").hide(); //hide images that has no src $R(".module h1 img[src=''], .feature-image[src='']").hide(); //navigation $R(".f-dropdown collapse .module").each(function () ); $R(".f-dropdown collapse").each(function () ); $R(".bottom-content .large-6 .module, .

Bugs are going to happen even to the best developer.

1 x 12 = 12, and 3 x 12 = 36, so what we really have is (12 36) - 5 = number eaten.

12 36 = 48 and 48 - 5 = 43 That means that the number of cupcakes eaten is 43.
